The Pro-Tech 8 TITAN K is today's gold standard for structural firefighting gloves! This glove is the Kangaroo skin version of the original Titan model. Kangaroo is considered the most rugged of all leathers ounce for ounce while maintaining incredible softness and pliability. The unique structure of kangaroo leather allows it to be cut down to a relatively very thin layer but still retain its strength. The Pro-Tech 8 TITAN K glove is specifically designed and con-structed for hand protection during structural firefighting activities. The component materials (DuPont Kevlar®. Nomex® and water repellent fire retardant kangaroo leather) are designed to withstand the effects of flame, heat, vapor, hazardous liquids, sharp objects and other hazards that are encountered during structural firefighting opera-tions. The multi-layer design allows incredibly soft and comfortable break in with thermal protection that actually increases after washing, as proven during lab certification testing, while drying quickly and staying soft over time. The inner liner component is 100% knitted Nomex® and cannot be simply pulled apart. Meets NFPA 1971 Standard, 2007 Edi-tion. Available in short cuff only, sizes: S-3XL.
